Maputo, Mozambique
The
deVere Group, the world's largest independent financial consultancy
group was delighted to sponsor the Maputo Golf Day held at the
Maputo Golf Course on 17th July. The event was attended by
forty companies, including eighty players and was a huge success
for all parties involved.
deVere, who set up a
presence in Mozambique less than a year ago agreed to sponsor Golf
Professional and South African sunshine tour player, Adilson Da
Silva. Throughout the day Adilson offered coaching lessons to the
players and the feedback was excellent resulting in some fantastic
scores. Gareth Davies, deVere Group Area Manager in
Mozambique commented, "Having access to a tour professional offered
the added extra to this day and I am extremely thankful for
Adilson's help and assistance".
The golf day was
followed by an evening gala meal during which deVere presented the
awards. deVere's presence at this event enabled the company to
reach out to the community. The deVere Group is planning on opening
new offices in Africa by the end of the year as the demand for
expat financial advice is rising in the region.
